You are alone. Third gen is a huge success because they have pretty solid charas and some clear beauties who can become perma front row after a few graduations go through.

First gen is obviously still head and shoulders above them, but they are a stark improvement over second gen that faded into unders, even though they had some unique girls like KTK, Hinako, and Ranze.
