I think the main problem with this event is that people did not understand that you're not supposed to get a lvl 40 Tempest with a bonus of 630% and grinding.
You're supposed to whale (or save up free gems) for the two bonus girls at max LB for a total of 1900% bonus.

Supposedly you can carry over tickets to the next Renkiden event, so future events might get a bit easier.
