Really though, I think the easiest way to obtain a salamander wife is to hire one as a body guard for an extended period of time. Defeating one in battle will be difficult, and the constant effort to train to win her over is just a lot of hassle and pretending to be something you aren't, at least for me anyways.

According to the setting, simply living with a monster girl for long enough, maybe a month or so, will cause her monster instinct to recognize you as husband, even if she had no prior interest in you at all. Then all it takes from there is one simple advance for sex to happen. Also, this method also allows you to know her and bond with her before you make the full commitment. Plus, who wouldn't want to "rough it" with a sexy salamander for a couple months, forced to cuddle each other on cold nights, getting to know each other by a campfire, having tons of alone time day and night, etc.?
