that depends entirely on the workflow, on one end of the spectrum you have fansub and scanlation groups or jewnovel fags where collaboration and 2-way communication is normal, on the other end of the spectrum you have shitseas with nobody talking to anybody else which is how you get editors deleting 1/3rd of the script or typesetters putting text in the wrong boxes (picrel)
