Probably helps if you get a larger mask, tons of padding to fix your proportions, and dont take pictures near objects and furniture that doesn't appear larger than your typical human size, or pose with slightly oversized props (eg: a large cute umbrella).

Skew the perspective in your photos as much as you can.
