I decided to try this game since everybody seems to praise it for being so deep and hardcore.

It was kind of fun, but too bad! I'm shitty at STGs. I died with bombs in stock twice on Stage 1-4, and once with a hyper at Stage 1-5 boss... Game Over when he was at about 60% health. I can probably 1-ALL it within my next few attempts, but there probably isn't any point in playing if I'm never going to clear the second loop.
