I think the issue here mostly lies with the fact that you are picking a Lilim as a character. A species thats well known for being overpowered and often being chosen to be a snowflake character.

Im sure people would have absolutely zero issue if your main character were for example a Lizard, or a Shirohebi or even a Dormouse (A coffee addicted Dormouse hellbend on raising a country would be a fun read btw).
People are just much icky when somoene mentions the word 'Lilim' as character.

Which on that note, is actually not a bad/strange thing. Dealing with such an OP character by nature makes it very hard to properly fit one in your story. You have to avoid putting them in the spotlight too much, as you'd very easily make them feel like donutsteel characters, yet you do wish to avoid the general archetype personality they have.

The best step here would probably be to take the general archetype personality and alter it in certain points, keeping the feel of a Lilim intact, but still giving her unique traits. Of course, how far you can move away from her archetype entirely depends on your story and how good of a writer you are.
