Hi /jp/, nowadays it is nice that we've all learned how important giving responses to lonely posters is. Even if someone makes a really bad thread they usually get one or two pity replies which is quite lovely for everyone.

However it's sad that the archive allows us to see anons in the past who were cruelly ignored. These threads will remain forever as memorials to their fate. For instance,

I seriously cried after finding this. One single response could have brightened the day of the OP. One... and who knows what happened to him. It's possible that he even left /jp/ in shame and despair. And there are so many old threads like this...

You would stand there awkwardly, murmuring something. "Um... okay... thanks anyway..." then he would do that little nod thing that Japanese people do, before resuming the conversation with his wife.

You walk home feeling sad and for the rest of your life you will never know if ZUN was too drunk to notice your cosplay or simply didn't want to talk to such a freak.
