They absolutely weren't, SOD Group's VR as a whole has more than "a few outliers" that trend towards the bottom end of picture quality anyways. e.g. Natural High was shooting and releasing (rather soft looking) 5K for a while, going as far back as 2020, but you'd never know if all you had was Mr. Chang's 2048p AVC streamrip.
