No magic really, 3-5 is just easy. Only those bloody gold transports on final form that hit hard and refuse to die and gold CL at the first node are painful.
"Historical" shit is loads of fun though, I've been using this loadout on Kongous for quite some time with good results. Barely noticed difference to usual 2xred AP seaplane, they still one-shot everything even like that. Damn 152mm secondary galleries were so good looking on real-life Kongous, not using them feels like a crime.
