Mirai DX is the only Vocaloid game I played so far so I can't really compare. My guess is that the number of 3DS units out there was pretty big so they ended up pumping out more Mirai games. The first MVs weren't as great looking.

I'm hoping for Vocaloid games on the Switch but I'm not holding my breath for that. Since I don't want to give money to Sony I'll have to emulate what I can. Thankfully my CPU is a big girl so all that's left is to wait for good optimization.
