Don't know about >>1943490, but in my case Fate was the least boring solely because I started playing it without knowing anything about F/sn ("KOTOMINE HAS TWO SERVANTS?! BRIIIIIIICKS"). Then after I finished it I was spoiled for every detail of UBW and HF so they were less enjoyable. I guess it'd be different for someone who watched the anime or something.
