You prepare to draw your sword when you suddenly feel a hand on your arm, you see it belongs to an old man who is shaking his head, and he then points outside.
There she is, being treated like a princess, a young attractive black dragon woman being polite and nice to the people.
She greets everyone and smiles at the children on her way to the main hall...
The whole night is a social event for the town, she is their 'honorary' protector. dancing, drinking, feasting story telling, and other entertainments .
The townsfolk refer to her as Lady all evening.


Not what you were expecting?

You come into a village and find they pay a tribute to a local dragon protector, so you take it upon yourself as a great warrior to stop this dragon from her evil ways.
The entire village begs you not do it it, just strengthening your resolve.
Finally the elders take you off to the side and tell you that the dragon will be there tonight at the main hall for her tribute, and he is to stay there until it comes.
That night the grand hall is outfitted in the finest of meals and musicians.
The great warrior can only watch dumbfounded as the great dragon protector is a young little black dragon lady that is very polite and entertaining.In fact the whole town just loves her and treats like a queen.
