I got a job in Japan!
I will be living in Ibaraki, but my training is in Tokyo, and I'm coming a week early so I can see the city, aclimatize, get over jetlag, etc.

I don't have much money, say 3500 yen a day. I don't want to see the big things, more the fun little things like good food and interesting museums. I like really esoteric shit, something like a konnyaku museum or a toilet factory with guided tours would fascinate me.

I've been to Japan several times before, but never to Tokyo. What's fun, low key, cheap, and unique, preferably around Narita?

And while I'm at it, what's fun in Ibaraki, Saitama, Gunma, etc?
