I utterly, grossly and totally disagree!

In fact, not having field experience makes your aroma conceptualizaion skills even greater because the room for imagination is so much wider, and the space for creativity on PLANNING those AROMAS are infinity; you are NOT bounded by reality!

If you ever actually smelled the real thing (it's good don't get me wrong), it will leave you slightly disappointed, and fully underwhelmed, by it's limitations and predictability.
