>As far as yanks are concerned, 88% of their criminologists don't believe that death penalty works as a deterrent

Only using one source for their information. Good going Muhammad. How many American Criminal Justice text books have you read? Have you read Practical Homicide Investigation? How about Sexual Homicide? Pic related is just a handful sitting on my laptop.

>What I think is that people who commit these kind of crimes either don't care about self-preservation or simply don't take the punishment into consideration.

Except that you're not a cop; detective, prosecutor, or criminal profiler and can't make such claims. What about Tommy Lynn Sells, who cried and apologized for his countless rapes and child murders and then tried to have himself listed as mentally retarded in order to avoid the death penalty? What about Ted Bundy trying to cut deals all the way up until moments before he was strapped into the electric chair? You're actually making a claim that consequences don't deter some criminals.

>Cruel punishments would only serve to sate the lust for revenge for some vindictive individuals

You're being very pro-pedophile child murderer here Muhammad. You're more worried about if serial child murderers and torturers suffer rather than their victims and families and possible future victims.
