Finished Michi's route in ノラと皇女と野良猫ハート. Somewhat mixed feelings but I guess I can say I enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the MC and Michi's interactions and the humor was fun, though some of the drama felt really tedious.

The characters definitely shine the most, my favorite part of this was easily the antics of the characters, including the MC who was a lot of fun. The overall style of a kind of fairytale, with the narration, made for a nice touch and seeing some of the more fantastical themes from the start come back during the climax was great.

That being said the drama was just all over the place. Michi and her mother's issues made sense, they were part of the characters and it was obvious that both had to grow as people in order to settle their respective issues. Having nameless, faceless, and voiceless villain man just felt so cheap though. While the confrontation between him and Nora was amazing, at the same time felt emotionally lacking almost; I didn't care at all for this guy and from the beginning it was obvious he was shit. Everything that happened after that was just the silly humor from the start which I didn't dislike, but at the same time after that confrontation scene felt lackluster. Had it just completely followed through with a serious, fairytale shift I think it could have worked. The resolutions of the various problems at the end also felt weak, particularly the mother's.

A fun game, though not without its problems. Would've liked to see more dating scenes as opposed to the build up to drama that seems to go nowhere, but what was there was great.
