Nobody is really sure where this girl came from. There's no record of her on either side of the gate and her subspecies was thought to be extinct. The heavily armored, nearly tarrasque-sized reptile with a huge head crest, sharklike fin and piercing ice blue eyes seems almost feral and does not speak any language.

For the longest time, the destructive tunnels she dug beneath the city were thought to be the work of teenage wurms or a sandworm that had snuck through the gate illegally. While she has caused numerous blackouts, water leaks, steampipe failures and even a couple small gas explosions, it is the unanimous decision of the board under pressure from many political groups to provide her rehabilitation in a safe environment and ensure the propagation of the species. You will be given a small stipend to assist in caring for her.

She's big and wild but also terrified of interacting with people. She'll hide in the dirt under the nearest lawn, fin stuck out of the grass quivering, rather then meet you head on, only coaxed out with tasty food once she get's hungry enough.

Once she learns to trust you, she'll stick to you at all times unless she feels the irresistible urge to burrow and hunt. Then she'll come home, tracking earth all over the carpet and give you a big dirty hug. She's smart and will learn to speak to you in broken sentences fairly quickly.

While she loves digging, she loves when you clean her off even more, and will force you to take a shower with her every time. She'll growl happily as you scrub and polish her scales before she starts washing you and moves to cleaning lewder parts while she rubs against you whispering "mine husband".

She'll be happy with as many little landsharks as you want, but the government recommends at least a dozen and will increase your stipend appropriately for each.
