Patience is indeed a virtue, and all good things are worth the wait and effort to get to, but there comes a point where too much time passes and what you get isn't quite up to par. Then again, this is wholly subjective and based on one's expectations and limits on how much time can pass before the end result becomes unworthy of the wait.
