You move aside the cream curtains on the maple framed window, and see the peaceful village, alighted by the full moon.
This doesn't bring you any closer to the bathrooom, but it is a pretty scene, you must admit.


[ ] Go out into the hallway, search for a bathroom

[ ] Remain in bed

[ ] Escape through the window

You pass out, but even as you do so, you can feel someone pick you up gingerly, but cannot even will your eyes to open to see who your rescuer is. The darkness is nice and warm, however. At least you'll sleep well.

You wake up with a sore throat in a well lit room. A goodly fire is lit, and the room is nice and warm. There is a pleasant smell of something delicious cooking, but you can't quite pinpoint what it is. You are well tucked in, and the room is warm. There is a window to your right, letting the morning light filter in onto your bed. The room is accented in cream and dark burgundy, with a small chair in the corner. Several shelves are lined with various trinkets, shiny and not, weird and commonplace. It has a very girly feel though, somehow.

[ ] Go over to the window, and look out.

[ ] Pretend to be asleep.

[ ] Get up and try to go through the door.

[ ] Explore the room further.

Alice can be most assuredly lonely at midnight on /jp/.
Such is the nature of things.

Alice has abandonment issues from her parents, after which she found the grimoire and turned herself into a youkai, and would snap like a twig if her dolls and the only person she has as a real friend and neighbor (Marisa) Should be broken/die.

Happy Alice doesn't work.

Alice the loner, too afraid of messing up what she has to advance and deeply obsessed with her dolls and research. Shanghai can't talk or even think independently, she's just a thing, any personality she has is that imagined by Alice as she fondly controls the doll to brush her hair, tend to her wounds and act as though she's listening to another rant. Ultimately Alice's lonely life style is her own choice, she allows guests lost in the woods seeking shelter to stay in her house... but she doesn't interact with them, she tends to her dolls, continues her research and lives her life out, alone.

Alice is meant to be alone, meant to remain merely content with peeks of satisfaction for a job well done, a new technique discovered. Perhaps she lives in hope Marisa will make a move, it's not like Alice will.

tl;dr - I like Alice the way she is, a happy Alice doesn't seem right... not without her changing and frankly I like her freaky otaku nature. It's what we all see in her and sympathise with, freaky loners ourselves. ;_;
