I could be bias since I did this when I was new to the game but this was peak canthis.
Newfags will never know the thrill of sinking henderson-chan before she regen her hp while your buckets and fuel slowly decreases to 0.

I bragged and blogged earlier, now yesterday, about my favorite girl Hiei taking me to the boss every time. Anons here tried to warn me I was getting ahead of myself when I predicted I would be done early.

Well, I eventually ran out of resources. I scrapped spare weapons and girls as I got them, but it wasn't enough. So I started putting together sacrificial fleets to sit on the dialogue screen. Since then, collecting resource expeditions has equated to 4-5 girls dying each time. The flagship then sits at base, damaged and hungry, since I can't afford it to maintain her right now. Send out new expeditions, swap out to a new high level flagship, send out the next suicide team, repeat.

This last batch I sent to die included some girls I had locked for the new quests. This last batch also included a Hiei. She helps me come to the very late realization that I regret everything. Long story short, don't sacrifice ships. It's the worst thing ever.

I'm going to be sending my main fleet in 8 minutes. I've been thinking on it the past 40 minutes, but I haven't decided if I will allow retreat for this sortie, or if this will be my last run for this event. Or if I'll sit on the boss overnight (if they reach it) and let this nightmare consume tomorrow as well.
