I want to play Touhou seriously.
Which is the most easy ?

Does /jp/ prefer Extra stages over regular stages?

I've been trying clearing UFO Lunatic, stage 3 just kills me every time though. Are there any specific parts where I want to collect some coloured UFOs, for example Stage 6 for greens and such?

Touhoufags, after playing so many bullet hell games, in lunatic difficulty or not, do normal shooters seem boring and piss easy to you?

Touhou is much more beautiful than any other Space Invaders game. Is there anything else like it in the whole world?

I'm thinking about getting into Touhou. I hear that it takes a lot practice and excellent coordination, so I thought it'll be something I could enjoy.

Seeing the wiki, I notice there is a lot in the series. So, since Touhou seems to be one of /jp/'s things, I figure I could come to you guys for some advice.

First, for someone who never plays these sort of games, which one would be the best for newbies?

Second, which one is often consider the hardest in the series?

Who is the touhou with the red and white ribbon, white hair and uses fire? The wiki has no pictures to go by and all the names are in chingchongneese so it would take forever to find it. I know its not /r/, but this is the only place I know where to ask since /r/ never gives anything.

I used to play Raiden all the time when I was younger, but I had no idea the genre actually still existed.

EoSD - Meiji, introduction of the foreign Devil from the occident.

PCB - Edo/Feudal, the warrior Samurai class becomes prominent. Development of the Zen aesthetic associated with cherry blossoms. Prominence of commoner's esoteric Buddhism, associated with ghosts, reincarnation, various levels of hell and the netherworld.

IN - Heian, Heian aristocracy, traditions. Heian princess. Heian was also the era in which the Fujiwara clan held most of the power in Japan.

PoFV - Nara, strengthening of magic-religious and political power of Buddhism, such as that associated with the Enma. A code of ethics from Buddhism, as well as the belief in the river Styx are new developments compared to the previous primitive Shinto religion.

MoF - Asuka, early part predates Buddhism, placing an emphasis on the native religion, Shinto. A new competing faith is also introduced from the outside world in the form of Buddhism.

SA - Kofun, generally associated with the large burial mounds, differing from later cremation practices, large elaborate tombs were created and furnished. Predates the standard histories of the Nihon Shoki.
