No idea, I just farm story events until 100 luck or I run out of AP restores and have never really ran out of gold.
They did add the Very Hard gold quest a few months back so probably that. Remember to use 2 arena blacks and a support/leader Latikuul if you can.
Also don't just upgrade stuff for the sake of upgrading it, only do it if you need it because it is really fucking expensive. Like give your good attackers UR orange and pinks but units that just happen to deal a bit of damage alongside their skill can stick with SR 2nd blues and purples for now.

Honestly you might not need to switch them in because their skill 1 and ougi is reliant on having more blue units on your team and their skill 2 relies on you being able to supply them with a lot of SP. Really powerful unit, just not one you can make full use of right now.
If you want to use them then if you're going to be killing lvl35/50 raid bosses soon keep using Lilim since her debuffs will be a nice help there, if you're just going through all the chapters keep using Aina for her AOE.

Also since you have all 3 goshas now you can either save your gems for the next limited/gosha gacha or since you're new you might want to keep going because of the double SR rate.
The next limited gacha is probably on the 30th since this year every event that started at the end of the month was limited and the ones that started in the middle of the month were permanent. The pick up is possibly the Asagi you see on the title screen, one of these 3 or a collab since there's a "big announcement" tomorrow at 8pm.
Gosha gachas are March, May, September, November 25th, but for some reason this one was the 23rd so maybe they'll all be the 23rd from now on.
