You could ask the model what her favourite country is, excluding Japan, naturally; or what country she'd like to travel to most. This would have to be asked before the day of the interview/shoot obviously.
Then you can do a fun little quiz asking questions relating to said nation. Every question she gets correct, she can eat a snack/meal/dessert from that nation. For every question she gets wrong, she has to model a piece of clothing made famous in or traditonal to that nation.
I'm not a creative type nor am I giving it much thought; I personally hate cultural pandering (and pandering in general), so if there's a way to make content for multiple cultures without it feeling too much like a circlejerk then that's probably best.
