With her grip coming loose, I suggested a final effort - to channel magic through her.
I instructed her to keep one arm extended towards the chasm and cast magic through me, which would launch us to safety.
She obeyed, and I recited the words "Master Spark" while pouring the energy into her arms.
This was my signature spell, and I was known around the world for creating it.
When i did this, a small blast fired from her hands, much to her surprize.
However, it was not powerful enough to save us, and left me with practically no energy.

She frowned and said to me, "Hey mister, that was too weak! You probably have to put more feeling into it"
I laughed and agreed.
We would try again, but this time we would shout the words as loud as possible at the same time.
The girl smiled and gave me a thumbs up from her firing arm.

The colorful energy blasted from her hand, with such intensity that made me deaf and seared my clothes with its heat.
We were rocketed off the ground and right into the stone walls of the castle.
My magical energy sapped, I collapsed on the ground still holding onto the girl who seemed to be fast asleep, with a smile on her face.
