I've started using a grammar anki deck but I worry that I'm just going to be memorising the answers from the kanji and not actually parsing the sentence each time.

Is there something similar that also randomises the words being used?

I'm starting to struggle with retention on new Anki cards. I've had to massively slow down my new cards/day in order to keep it up and not have shit tons of leeches.

What should I do about this? Should I just let the leeches pile up and deal with them at the end? Should I do extra reviews on forgotten cards? Start reading despite having a fairly low vocabulary (only 900 or so words)?
