As I was reading the previous thread a grasshopper jumped onto my desk through an open window. Not wanting to make a mess I made a hand motion towards it in order to make it jump off. Once the intuder was on the floor I located my slippers and attempted to dispose of its unpleasant yellowish-brown form. The slippery bastard managed to evade me a couple of times but I eventually managed to crush it. It took a second stomp to take it down for good, perhaps bacuse of the soft rubbery slipper. As insects often do he was still moving despite seemingly being dead, its legs twitching and strangely enough his intestines writhing. While observing their motion, I thought to myself, how unusual for an insect to have such well defined and large internal organs. But once they continued moving even after detaching themselves from the carcass, a startling realization occured to me.
