partly right but also partly wrong because of the environmental factors at play. honestly i see the civilians in these countries as victims. you can't really blame someone for being a brainwashed nationalist drone when they live in a country where every single media outlet is state controlled and blasting them with propaganda all day.

i at least have the freedom to denounce my government as evil without fear of repercussions. chinese and russians are not so fortunate.
