It doesn't matter whether people believe like "wtf why it's effortless to just sit down and stream a couple hours every day" - they do need a break from it every now and then. Keep in mind this gig never stops, goes indefinitely. It's NOT effortless to go live, put on your character voice, keep in mind your list of all the things you shouldn't say or go anywhere near, keep an eye on the chat for yabs, keep an eye on the time, take coaching or tops from support staff into account, be on the lookout to greet VIPs aka other Holos lurking, the works. It's not remotely, not even one iota the same, as the experience you have sitting there playing a game yourself.

You have to constantly talk, constantly be entertaining. How often do you sit there trying your damndest to be entertaining to an endless horde of strangers while playing a game? Probably not often. It's exhausting to hold yourself up to the standards people have on you, as a Holo it's not some quiet little nook in Twitch with 50 people where there isn't huge pressure and a burgeoning company analyzing every single little fucking thing you do, suggesting stuff / coaching you after your streams and such. If you have some written notes of things your character is supposed to be doing or moving towards, that is completely, COMPLETELY fucking different a state of mind than just sitting there being yourself. If your default mode is not to be some chipper talkative person, it is draining. DRAINING. Do you all fucking understand a bit, maybe? I hope you do a bit better now. Let them have their damn day or two off a week. They'll burn out without it.

This announcement was a let down, I was expecting something really good but it was worth the hype, I wasted my time watching her.
