Regarding what direction the Nijigasaki girls are going in, for the time being they are solely meant for the game and doing promotion for Famitsu, Dengeki, and other sites. In like almost every video they explain how they are not like Aqours and μ's and are meant for the game only. If they get popular enough then I could see them doing an anime in the future, but that isn't on their plate right now.
