Yes. It is long, as Visual Novels go, and the exposition is very dry and tends to get repetitive, but once you get past it all, the world setting and interesting concepts make a very fun story overall. The fight scenes are dynamic and are the top-notch of the genre, though they're far-between as far as the story goes.

In other words, the writing is bad but the story is awesome. If you love the characters (everyone will at least have a favorite), even the non-action scenes are bearable.
