It's a yuri show and the lesbians I've seen post about it already hate these scenes as is, because some old guy is touching a girl (they want Hina's character to kiss her cosplayer friend instead, at least we can agree on that).
So they pretty much had to make this guy a childlike joke character, or he would've been even creepier to their target audience (young women who like yuri).

For me personally, I'm glad that Hina isn't just playing a background role, and as a gravure fan I'm glad that she's getting roles where she was obviously typecast because of her sexy body. Hopefully she'll get more roles with that in mind.
She said that she wants to be in a horror movie someday, you know these types of horror flicks where the killer surprises a young woman in the bath and chases her around the house in a bath towel? If a Japanese director is reading this, he should note that down.
