I like how the narration didn't really treat Kanamori as a bad person for liking lolis. It goes on and on about how he's a sick bastard that loves to humiliate and control his victim, but the fact that he finds lolis attractive is never treated as an actual problem.

He did something similar in the second night with that batshit insane woman. And again, he went out of his way to avoid treating the attraction itself as a problem.

If that was his real intention, I respect him even more. He's an amazing guy on top of being an extremely talented storyteller. I even find his "mediocre" writing skills kind of charming. It's a very unique style.
