Not that anon, but I never got this complaint about KnK? For both the movies and books, the only noticeable slump is part 6.
It's not like each chapter is supposed to be an "equal" in length or importance. The first four are a steady build up to an amazing climax, and all 4 of those movies are great (3 has a bit more action, since it serves as the climax for the first book). 7 is just as good as 5 in the books, though the movie for 5 ended up superior due to the directing.
