I hate to say this but I'm about to declare that playing regular vidya games is not reading.

I've spent the last 4 hours playing Zelda and have only encountered like 20 new words total. Normally I'd call this a success because I've been able to enjoy the large majority of text without thinking about it, but this is some slow progress. Admittedly these are mostly useless garbage words like 血塗る、怨念、and 欲望 (thanks 闇の神殿) but still.

At least I'll never forget what a 湖畔 is ever again.
