In my case, when Chinese artists also sell on Japanese sites Tora / Melon / etc., the cost is much cheaper for identical quality. I have As109 Taiga from TaoBao and it is comparable to the As109 Shinobu I got from Tora, but I paid ¥15763 total, which is about $133 instead of ~$55 dollars.

It's imperative that you directly buy from the artist's circle instead of random storefront with the same art though.
