Is it ever worth betting more than one casino tokens?

I can't imagine there being any prize worth risking 20 tokens, but I want to be certain.

I'm in need of several change material scrolls so I did the sensible thing and took alchemy to make my own. But alchemy doesn't make scrolls, jewelry does.

I realized this not more than five minutes after I took the skill. The game has saved. Would it be difficult to edit my save file so I'd have jewelry, or would that be bad and also not possible.

Equipment never sells for a high price. What sells for good money are monster body parts (hearts, bones, skin, blood, etc), ores and gems, scrolls, potions and rods.

Always give ores and gems to your pets instead of selling them. They can sell them fore a greater amount of money, and then invest that money into training for themselves. This is very useful.

Never sell scrolls, potions, or rods, because they are of more value to you as items you can use than they would be as gold.

Basically, selling items is not the way to make money in Elona. The exception is trading cargo, but you can't make the good money unless you build a house near a major city.
