Right now Midjourney V6 is on par with DALL-E 3, SDXL is worse than both for anything other than anime lewds. But here's the thing: even local SDXL is nowhere close to NAI's, they really did something magic with their custom model. If you install local SDXL and type "Kazami Yuuka from Touhou in the style of Spacezin" or something you will just get a generic anime girl that looks nothing like Yuuka.

No, DALL-E 3 is in another whole level than SD, using i2i on an image generated by it will only fuck up and downgrade it.
