Same. Mindflayers are part of the three number ones for me. They just seem so safe and warm. There was this idea I had a while ago of meeting a mindflayer but not immediately losing. They instead actually talk to you and (without mindflayer fuckery) and slowly ease you into the idea of letting them do so. Eventually, after doing that several times, going further and further into her abilities and letting her take control further, you let her squid you. Basically a proposal.
