Chi-Ken 32 "Chicken" - The Chiisai-Keninsha 32 (Small Tractor 32, 32 meaning the 132nd cycle of Gensokyo, the year in which it reached serial production, 2017 in the Gregorian calender) was the first tank to be directly produced by the Great Fairy Alliance, and played an important role in teaching the fae about the methods of industrialization.

Background:

In the years before the Grand War, it was foreseen by the leprechauns exiled from the Northern Border that they would likely come into conflict with the local youkai. The average youkai was far stronger then a human, who was already stronger then a fairy, and it was known that even the strongest of the fae, the future queen of Ice-Nine, was no match for the powerful beings in which they ultimately anticipated would attempt to challenge them.

Years ago in the past, during the struggle of the Northern Border where the chauns as well as the rest of the local fantastic creatures revolted against the cruel border-master in response to a century of despair caused by the abuse of his powers, the former attempted to utilize human technology in order to offset their weakness against the monsters and men loyal to the master's side. Artillery and other weapons of war drawn in from the outside over the ages were refurbished in hopes of turning them against the tyrant-druid, and for their efforts, they achieved a reasonable success considering their lack of experience with such tools. Among the restored devices included a tank from the First World War, restored and outfitted with flamethrowers to compensate for the lack of ability the chauns had in working with automatic weapons. This tank's role in the conflict was rather minor, and it was ultimately destroyed by an ogre, but it proved capable against not only human soldiers, who fled in terror from the iron beast, but also lesser monsters, who were often unable to scratch its steel hide despite possessing superhuman strength."
