I remember even bunshun mentioned that her hiatus was due to mental pressure pretty much because of work piling up.
And Nao herself mentioned multiple times in the past that she doesn't handle pressure well.
Her blogpost after the comeback also had a feel that she wasn't happy with her being thrown back into the center position again.
She looks much healthier now that she wasn't center for Midnight.
Whether she's happy with the second row is another question but I don't think she wants to be a permacenter herself, maybe they'd do a double center Nao+1 next time or something.

Unironically this. She's been looking more and more alive these past few months.
Not being a center clearly has a positive effect on her, wish management wouldn't make her center again for a while to let her fully recover.
