Damn bro, I feel like I'm in the same situation as you. Used to love idols and they'd always make my day fun and be my source of light in the world. But then I got a job and met a cute asian girl at work. She's not as beautiful as an idol but she's still cute and amazing in real life if you know what I mean. The thing is she's quiet like me so it's hard to get through to her. I'm trying to give her space and not be too needy, but she's all I think about now and I just want to be closer to her. I've stopped following idols as much now because they can't really fill the void inside of me anymore.
