I love reading the comments about how babymetal isn't 'real' metal. It reminds me of a conversation I had with one of my mom's friends when I was a kid; an effete liberal narcissist. He pointed to his Chagall painting and then to some photo realistic painting of puppies and explained that the Chagall was art and the other one was not.

It's this idea that 'cute' is worse than 'serious' even if the cute art is well done. if it's not easy for a person who takes themselves seriously to superimpose themselves on it, it isn't art.
