Bummer. I'll probably continue the game and just skip if it ends up similar (or worse, as you say). I do agree that it's quite fine outside of the plot. And as long as the plot isn't trying too much I suppose.

But I guess that's unfortunately relatively normal with eroge. Makes the few games that can get serious and do that well stand out all the more.
