All the boards are going to shit, and have been for a few years now. It's an inevitable result of 4chan's increased popularity. /jp/ has been... somewhat spared but this is largely due to the increasing paranoia and xenophobia of the board. Anyone and everyone is an outsider, here to hurt the board, and should be treated worse than trash. If they see they will get nothing out of us but spite, they will leave. Fitting for 'Japan General', really.

If you want anything from /jp/ the best option is to lurk and wait for it, whatever it may be, or lurk and assimilate yourself to the extent that you know how to ask for things. Either way, you lurk. In this regard it is similar to the 4chan of old, just more aware of the possible outcome.
