The point is that all the girls can compete for Takeru's affections on a level playing field instead of a certain childhood friend getting an advantage by deleting his memories of hooking up with some other girl (the same childhood friend wanted to atone for that by leveling the playing field for herself and the others anyway). AF basically ends with the status quo with Takeru living a worry-free life and having picked no one, hence the alt title "Before The Shining Moment Fades"

I'm a bit mad that Alt's KimiNozo and KimiIta crew didn't join the nine-way fight in AF; who cares about Bakayuki or Masaki anyway.
