Being able to win is something every hero can do, and they are designed to do so through different means, be it snowballing, providing burst, disables, ganking potential or solo kill potential.

Just remember that this conversation started because it was mentioned that Byakuren, like all hard carries, need a lot of farm to function. It was not about other heroes not being able to "carry".
