I really like your description of Caster anon, sums it up well. Especially 'wife-like'. She is a bit of a 'dark horse' in that respect but once you see it you can't ignore it.

Stop arguing guise, can't we all agree that Caster is the best and should be loved unconditionally with all our hearts?

I blame my step-father. He lived in Japan and got his university degree there before he came back to remarry my mom. He used to travel back there every now and then to meet his mistress and when he came back he'd give me all these cool Japanese toys. I'm still very proud to be the first kid in America to know about pokemon, he brought one of their merchandise as a gift when he came back and when the series started airing I was like "OH GOD I HAVE THIS TOY!"

But yeah, he was a cool dude, was gonna name my little half sister Daisuki, but my mom was like "I don't want to name my daughter a name with the word Die in it.". So yeah he was a super weeaboo living the dream.
