Well duh, she's the figurehead and face of Nijisanji, the whole point of vtubers is to make money from advertisement deals, it's part of the job. Mito's doing fine, she has more proper "work" to do now but that just comes with all the fame.

I don't think she's on the payroll for full time in the first place, hence why she barely makes enough to pay her own bills (or so she says) so it would make sense they don't have her available most of the time to work on streams, collabs, guest appearances, etc. I'd put solo streams on low priority as well, leave that for the rest of the Nijisanji.
