I'm around N4 level and know only about few hundred kanji and grammar equivalent to DoBJG. As suggested here, I started reading a VN that's marked as easy for beginner, that is イブニク/evenicle.

My thought: it's pretty hard to understand the story even with tools like ITHVN & JPaser/Mecab (Translator Aggregator). I'm still on the first few hours, and without some help from google translate (which turns out to be surprisingly good), I don't think I would be able to make reasonable guesses of the non-trivial passages.

So here comes my question:
1) should I continue reading it, or should I be focusing on anki core/grammar book since I'm struggling too much?
2) do I have to make my own deck when playing it?
3) are there any other tips/resources that anon can share for newb like me?
